Ash has been working with children, young people and their families for the last 7 years within Queensland and New South Wales. Ash describes herself as a fierce advocate for children and has devoted her career to ensuring that the young people in our community are supported, listened to, cared for and safe.

Ash has a Bachelor of Teaching and is working towards a Bachelor of Psychology to further her passion in helping children and their families through early intervention and collaborative and supportive therapeutic care. During her career, Ash has been lucky enough to work throughout a range of different public schools in Queensland and more recently has been working with young people involved in the Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs, focusing on out-of-home care for young people who have experienced trauma, neglect and harm.

With a passion for providing high quality care for children and families, Ash believes in the magic of childhood and the magic of play. With a strong focus on trauma informed care and a person centred approach, Ash’s goal is to always be positive light to help guide young people as they move through their lives.
