Local to the Rockhampton region, Megan is a social worker with 17 years of experience working with young people and families in various Government and non-Government positions in various regional areas of Queensland.

Megan is skilled with working with a range of mental health issues and with young people who have experienced complex trauma. Her experience includes working in senior clinical and management positions such as headspace and in specialist mental health teams with Queensland Health.

Megan is respectful of young people’s and families’ diverse backgrounds and experiences and works collaboratively to improve wellbeing and relationships. Megan enjoys working with young people and families in creative ways to encourage emotionally safe therapeutic interventions.

Megan is currently completing training in Play Therapy and working towards registration with the Play Therapy Practitioners Association.
