Renata has worked as a clinician and in the human services sector across the last 13 years. She is a qualified counsellor, having completed a Masters degree in Counselling as well as an undergraduate degree in Psychology. Throughout this time she has found her passion to be supporting and empowering children and their families.

Renata has had experience working with children, youth and adults through the provision of individualised and personalised support services, counselling, group therapy, community education, and mediation. She has also written and facilitated programs directed at children aged Prep-Year12. She has experience operating from a client-centred, recovery and strength based therapeutic modelled approach, as well as utilising psycho-social interventions.


Renata feels passionately about the unique position clinicians have in supporting and empowering families, and truly values meeting children and the family unit with patience and understanding. Currently completing clinical training as a play therapist, she looks forward to working collaboratively with children and their families, to see children express themselves through play.
